Mark T. is a versatile acoustic roots performer, whose craft blends American music with music from the British Isles folk traditions. His performances are deeply rooted in musical scholarship, cultural storytelling, and instrumental finesse, offering audiences a globally seasoned and authentic folk-blues experience.

Tonight, Mark will be playing from his blues set.

Muntjac is a rock cover band based in Reading consisting of Dan (guitar & vocals), Andy (drums) and Dave (bass & vocals).  They met via Meetup a decade ago.  Muntjac want to find the sensitive side to Nu Metal and make pop songs anxious.  Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl is their creative muse, admittedly more by accident than by design..   

Aussie Pete has been in the Reading area playing guitar and harmonica, and singing on stage for about 3 years. He comes from a musical family with his mother, sister and two older brothers and, most notably, folk sister duo "Charm of Finches".  Peter has been playing at many open mics, gigs and private parties around Reading. His genre can be described as Folk, Country Rock, inspired by artists such as the Eagles, Neil Young and Bob Dylan.   

Tom Hall  has been seen on our stage in One Lump or Two. However, he is also a great solo performer with an eclectic range of songs, accompanied by his smooth gutar playing. 

Last Minute Returns, is David and Mike who perform nuanced folk and acoustic music: original, traditional and covers. David’s unique voice combines sensitivity and authority whilst Mike brings an array of acoustic instruments and accompaniment. 

The K&M Lectures delivers a highly engaging blend of alternative acoustic groove and lively, irreverent entertainment. Kris King and Minch craft an original, quirky sound that is both musically tight and refreshingly unconventional. It is this signature mix of clever, genre-blending song writing and charismatic showmanship that makes their performances an unforgettable, feel-good staple of the local grassroots music scene.

Ian Stone had his own folk band in the late Sixties; the late Seventies saw him in a duo (Gemini), and later with a drummer (Apollo) gigging until1981. He now plays guitar and sometimes harmonica at local open mics. He released his CD, Ian & Friends In June 2026 with the successful local band : Angel and the Badmen.
